The weekend is here, let's retreat from the digital world❌
When I travel, I love to spend my time enjoying the real experience and I don't spend my time on social media. I just open my smartphone to do photography and check important calls and messages only.
Since Covid, I haven't been travelling for more than a year now and it seems, it will be for quite some time until everything is safer.
Hence, why not spend more quality time with my loved ones by doing what we love, more of self-care and enjoy even at home, at our own comfort, relax than working, and detox from the digital world.
As a writer and content creator, my social media is a workplace for me too. Having a day off is important for me to rejuvenate and come back feeling better, and be even more productive. It's the same concept for recovery day when you workout.
If you can relate, you can try digital detox once a week as a start. Even if you are someone who can't leave without checking yours/other social media or smartphone in general, try a day off, fully focus on the present. Give yourself half a day or 24 hours to start.
Let's do this and enjoy the little things in life because there are so many things to be grateful and appreciate in REAL life🥰❤
